The Kashmir Files Story

Kashmir Files depicts the story of a JNU student, Krishna Pandit (Darshan Kumar), who is the protagonist of the story. According to his grandfather Pushkar Nath (Anupam Kher), Krishna believes that his parents died in an accident. But the reality is even more disappointing.

He is caught at the center of two conflicting accounts of the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits in 1990. Pro-independence JNU professor Pallavi Joshi stands on one side and is well-liked on the campus for her support of the Kashmir issue. Nath, who has been fighting for justice for the past 30 years for migration, which the professor says is a hoax, is on the other side.
