Jailer Story
The prison warden, Muthuvel Pandian (Rajinikanth) foils the attempts by organizing a show for the remaining criminals. The story of Jailer revolves around Tiger Muthuvel Pandian (Rajinikanth), a former prisoner who seeks revenge against a gang trading in ancient temple artifacts for the murder of his son, ACP Arjun (Vasanth Ravi).
But he gets entangled in several unexpected issues that put his own family, including Vijaya (Ramya Krishnan), Shweta (Myrna Menen), and granddaughter Rithvik, in danger. Throughout the trek, he gets assistance from old guys, Mathew (Mohanlal), Narasimha (Shiv Rajkumar) and Jackie Shroff. Does he manage to protect his family and get justice for his son? Everything happens in jail.

Anirudh’s background score is one of the biggest pros of the film and takes the ensemble moments to another level. The above 4 blocks leave an even better impact due to Anirudh’s background score, which does full justice to the aura of Rajinikanth. The dialogues ensure enough amusing moments. The family angles, especially the first few frames are well-executed and bring a smile to your face.
