Bachchan Pandey is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language action comedy film directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Arshad Warsi and Jacqueline Fernandez. Pankaj Tripathi, Prateik Babbar, Sanjay Mishra, and Abhimanyu Singh play supporting roles.

It is an official remake of the 2014 Tamil film Jigarathanda, which was inspired by the 2006 South Korean film A Dirty Carnival. The film was released theatrically on 18 March 2022 and opened to a lukewarm response at the box office.

Bachchan Pandey Movie Review

I agree with some of the less-than-star reviews that Bachchan Pandey had parts of it that could have been elaborated upon. But I think overall, the story and action of BP were really good. I watched it many times because it had a mix of everything that Bollywood movies are known for like songs, comedy, romance, action, etc.

So, with the combination of all these, the film already qualifies as a top-tier film. in my opinion. For example, I disliked ‘Pathan’ a lot, but that doesn’t mean everyone disliked it. Same is the case with BP. I loved this movie because it was emotional and Akshay did a great job in this role. Plus, the costumes were great! I really don’t understand why many people are against it, the songs were great, the dialogues were good and the cinematography was 10/10!! Perfect combination!!
